Or – What’s YOUR Big Idea?  We’ll be participating in the BIG Idea contest again this year.  Today, I’d like you to spend some time thinking about and researching to begin developing your BIG Idea proposal.

Think about what product or service is needed in our communities that you could provide.

Read through the FAQ section.  They should answer most of your questions with regard to your entry.

There are a bunch of videos etc. that discuss and provide helpful hints for a host of small business ideas, issues, and problem.  Check them out here.

You may want to read through some of the past winners to see what things have been successful in the past.  Find them here.  We’ve been quite successful in the past – having the winner twice, having finalists a couple of times, and finalists/winners in the marketing portion of the contest as well.

Each of you will be responsible for submitting an entry to the BIG Idea contest.  You may work individually, or in a group.  Check the rules to see how many people can be in your group.  You can also view all of the judging rubrics so that you know how your entry will be evaluated here.

Keep in mind – there are CASH prizes involved!  Good luck!

Your entry will be due, submitted on the website on October 19, 2018.
