What is the article about? Who regulates what can be labeled as “milk”? How do they define milk? What other naming arguments does the article discuss? What steps will have to be followed in order for the regulating body to force name changes of soy and almond etc “milk” products? How is “milk” made from almonds, soy, or coconut? How much “plant based milk” is consumed in the United States? Which source (coconut, cashew, almond etc) makes up the largest market share of non dairy milk? Is there pending legislation that hopes to regulate this issue? What are your thoughts? Do you think all white liquids sold in the refrigerated case in the grocery story should be labeled as milk? Why or why not?
