Why do people feel they have the right to be mean to others or speak abusively about them? I was raised to be respectful to others, whether I agreed with them or not. How can we, as high school students and staff affect change in the behavior of our student body? What can or should be done to mandate the appropriate behavior and treatment of all within our walls? What about that same type of behavior on social media and outside of our building? What can you do as one person to help your peers and teachers feel safer at school? What do you see as the cause for the lack of respect displayed here? Is West Central an isolated community, or has the lack of respect increased everywhere?
